Ellie, today we went back to school shopping. You picked out anything with sparkles or shine. We ended up getting a blue shirt with lace and rhinestones, a fuzzy, cheetah- print sweatshirt with a sparkly heart on the front and light up sneakers. Anyways, we went because you start Kindergarten in 2 weeks. Kindergarten in 2 weeks. I can't believe it. I remember soothing you to sleep as a newborn and it doesn't seem that long ago. I feel like our family is on the verge of big change now that you are starting school full time. You are growing up.
We also had gymnastics. Annabelle and I watched you girls practicing. Ellie you try everything quickly and repeatedly with no fear. Louisa, you watch and practice slowly trying to perfect each trick. You are so proud of your forward rolls.
Both of you are loving the Veggietales Sings the 80's CD. Listening to Louisa sing "Walkin On Sunshine" is the cutest thing ever.
Annabelle, you tried 'real' food today for the first time. I started giving you purees when you were about 5.5 months old. However, one you started finger foods like Cheerios and Puffs, you wouldn't eat anything else! Today you had bites of waffle for breakfast and pasta with tomato sauce for dinner. You LOVED it.
